This All-Purpose recipe is the perfect fresh mixture of seasonings and spices that enhances and adds flavor to everything you cook. Ideal for any protein, meats, vegetables, potatoes and salads or a pinch of it on avocado toast or crostini.
History of PGS:
My husband and I had been using these three ingredients mixed together for several years. One Christmas we decided to bottle it up and give to family and friends for Christmas, and the rest is history. Everyone called and wanted more.
Once you use it you will see how it makes everything tastes like you were in a fine restaurant. It’s a definite staple you will never want to be without! Use PGS on a daily basis, have it ready in a shaker next to you when you cook or in a on your table for your individual palate.
In an airtight container PGS should last in an airtight container for up to a year.
Why we use Sea Salt:
After traveling the coastline from Marsala to Trapani, called the “Salt Road” in Sicily.
I was intrigued with the Ancient Salt Pans in Trapani and wanted to know more, so I went back a second time to explore.
Sea Salt is usually minimally processed and is a coarser, softer grain than table or kosher salt. It’s notable for its crunchy texture and potent flavors it retains trace levels of nutrients like magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium.
This Italian Sea Salt is the key flavor ingredient that makes this PGS extra special.
